Welcome!
The Suzuki Association of Wisconsin (SAW) hosts a biennal Winter Retreat with guest clinicians as well as teachers from around Wisconsin and Illinois. This fun "mini-Institute" experience supports the entire Suzuki-Triangle with classes for students and lectures for parents!
This fun (not frozen) Suzuki Winter Retreat is held in the luxurious Madison Marriott West hotel in Middleton, Wisconsin--just minutes from downtown Madison. We hope you'll join us January 12th-14th, 2024 for a special weekend!
Guest Clinicians: Terry Durbin (violin), Carol Ourada (cello), Bret Serrin (piano), Phala Tracy (harp), and Samantha Cruz (Music Adventures)
If you are a Suzuki teacher, there are amazing opportunities for you as well.

Registration is due by December 15th!
Student Registration includes:
Two Suzuki Repertoire Group classes
One Music Adventure class with our guest clinician, Samantha Cruz
One Enrichment Class (see enrichment class descriptions for more details!)
Dress rehearsal for final concert
Opportunities to attend and/or perform in concerts throughout the Retreat Weekend
A Cookies and Brownies Dessert social on Friday evening
A Pizza Party on Saturday evening
Two Parent Lectures given by a guest clinicians and teachers
Optional: Master class on space available basis. (Additional fee of $30/class)
Pool Party and meals available at the hotel
Retreat concludes with a performance on Sunday at the Marriott West Hotel
